Homemade Almond Butter

I try to not eat anything with more than five ingredients, or ingredients I can’t pronounce. That’s why I like to make my own when I’m at home.

My recipe:

  • 4 cups of raw almonds
  • 350-degree oven
  • add the almonds in the oven for 10min
  • remove from the oven and wait to cool down
  • transfer to a food processor and this will take 15-20 min
  • first, the almonds will look like an almond flower, as stock to the sides stop the food processor blend all the almonds, and start again
  • go over and over, doing it till it’s a cream.
  • if you are using Vitamix blender it may be faster than a food processor.
  • store in a storage container and keep in your refrigerator so it can be used for 30 days.
