Oatmeal

Oatmeal is filling, warm and delicious especially with all kinds of yummy toppings. Get creative! Pick your favorite fresh fruit and chopped nuts, a little natural sweetener and you got an easy meal or snack for your kids.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup gluten-free rolled oats
  • 2 cup of water
  • 2 tbsp walnuts, chopped
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Fruits of your choice for topping

 

How-To: Boil the oats and water in a small pot while stirring occasionally. Once boiling, turn down to low heat and continue to stir together every minute or two for about 5-8 minutes. Then pour into one or two bowls and sprinkle with desired toppings.
